I WOULD USE CRYO 2-3 HOURS AFTER A HARD RUN AND WOULD BE FULLY RECOVERED BY THE NEXT MORNING.
I’ve been doing endurance racing for 12 years and have slowly seen my body deteriorate from overuse injuries. The pounding of running was leaving me fatigued to the point that I needed multiple days to recover before I could run again.
I started using full body cryo in May 2017 to see if I could decrease inflammation and see immediate results with recovery from hard runs. I would use cryo 2-3 hours after a hard run and would be fully recovered by the next morning. I started with 2-3 treatments a week and increased to 5-6 and saw my running recovery improve significantly.
I was also able to increase the length and duration of my runs and double my overall run training resulting in the most comfortable Ironman I’ve ever raced from a fatigue and pain standpoint.
