If someone plans to use services consistently, the Longevity Membership provides better value and flexibility.

Services

Whole Body Cryotherapy

During a WBC session, the body is briefly exposed to extremely cold temperatures, causing your blood vessels to constrict. After exiting the chamber, blood vessels dilate again, promoting increased blood flow, oxygenation, and the release of endorphins, which can aid in reducing inflammation and pain. Additionally, due to the extreme cold, your blood is redirected to your major organs while in the chamber. Once out, your blood circulates back to your extremities. This increased blood flow means that more oxygen is going to those areas which helps with recovery.
Benefits may include reduced muscle soreness, faster recovery from injuries, enhanced athletic performance, improved mood, better sleep quality, and potential relief from conditions like arthritis and auto immune conditions. One of the most common thing clients say is that they have a deeper sleep and more vivid dreams!
Yes, WBC is generally considered safe for most individuals. Our staff will review contraindications with you prior to your treatment to ensure that it is safe for you. It is essential to follow safety protocols, such as wearing protective clothing (socks, gloves, and undergarments) to prevent frostbite. Recommend that women wear sports bras as opposed to ones with a wire in them since the wire may irritate their skin in the chamber. If someone asks to do a WBC after a sauna session, run, or workout, make sure that they do not have a significant amount of sweat on their body. Drying off completely helps prevent skin irritation and ensures a safe experience.
Participants can wear dry undergarments or swimwear, along with provided protective gear like socks, gloves and rubber shoes. Recommend that clients take off any jewelry or metal which may irritate their skin.
At its lowest, the chamber’s temperature can drop to approximately -140ºC (-250ºF). However, the exposure is brief, and the air is dry, making the cold more tolerable.
Each session lasts up to 3 minutes. For hesitant clients, remind them that its only three minutes—a short amount of time that anyone can handle. For more eager or enthusiastic clients, let them know that you can do two sessions a day. These sessions can be back-to-back (with time in between to heat back up to 80º at minimum) or spread throughout the day.
The number of sessions varies based on individual goals. Typically, multiple sessions a week would be recommended; however, getting in once is better than not getting in at all! Every session makes a difference and contributes to a client’s health journey.
Many individuals report feelings of rejuvenation, reduced pain, and improved mood following a session. Individual responses can vary. Recommend staying hydrated after a WBC sessions especially if it is a new client.
Yes, Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is more effective than traditional ice baths. Unlike ice baths, WBC allows users to experience a full range of motion in muscles and joints after treatment, without the prolonged stiffness that can occur with ice baths. Cryotherapy can provide faster cooling and a more significant reduction in temperature compared to the slower cooling process of traditional ice baths or cold packs. This rapid cooling can trigger systemic vasoconstriction (blood vessel constriction) more effectively and is less likely to cause secondary injury compared to conventional cold therapy. Additionally, evidence suggests that to achieve therapeutic benefits like pain relief and reduced local blood flow, the skin temperature needs to drop to around 14.4°C for pain relief and 13.8°C for improved circulation. Ice packs, however, typically only lower the skin temperature to 1-10°C, making it difficult to reach these therapeutic levels. Cryotherapy, on the other hand, can lower the skin temperature to these levels, significantly improving its effectiveness for recovery and pain management.

Local Cryotherapy

Local Cryotherapy is a targeted cold therapy treatment that uses extremely cold air (-200°F to -250°F) to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling in a specific area of the body. A cryotherapy device directs cold nitrogen vapor onto the affected area, causing vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels), followed by increased blood flow once the session ends. This process increases the flow of oxygen, reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation, and aids in recovery and healing. They can also be just for fun and relaxations—recommend facials with the local!

Local Cryotherapy can be used on joints, muscles, tendons, and problem areas such as the knees, shoulders, lower back, elbows, hands, and feet. It is also effective for post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and injury rehabilitation. It can also be used on the face but be mindful of the nose and mouth when you are running this service. Locals are great for any soreness or injuries—knees, ankles, shins, neck—but they’re also great for headaches, migraines, and any sinus issues. As mentioned before, recommend a facial for these health goals/issues.

Whole-Body Cryotherapy exposes the entire body to cold temperatures, while Local Cryotherapy focuses on a specific area, allowing for more targeted relief and faster recovery.

Patients typically feel a cold, tingling, or numbing sensation in the treated area, but the procedure is painless and most find it refreshing. Make sure you don’t stay on one area for too long and remind the client to let you know if any spot feels too cold and they want you to move away from it for a little.

A session typically lasts 12 minutes. Multiple sessions can be done per day on different body parts. For example, a client could ask for their knees and a facial. You could do one 12-minute session for the knees and one 12-minute session for their face. Some clients may ask for 9 minutes of this to be for their knees and 3 to be for their face. Let them know that we can do this, but focusing on one spot is better for optimal results to the area.

The number of sessions varies depending on your condition, but 2-3 sessions per week are recommended for optimal results, especially for chronic pain or inflammation. Coming in once is better than not coming at all! Every session counts towards a client’s health progress and journey.

Yes! It can be combined with PEMF therapy, infrared sauna, chiropractic care, and compression therapy to enhance recovery and maximize benefits. Cryotherapy MUST be done before any laser treatments.

Local Cryotherapy is safe and non-invasive. Some patients may experience temporary redness or numbness in the treated area, but these effects disappear quickly after treatment.

Hyperbaric Chamber

General Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Questions

HBOT is a medical treatment that involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance recovery.

The chamber increases atmospheric pressure, allowing the lungs to absorb more oxygen, which helps oxygenate the body’s tissues and accelerate healing.

Benefits may include improved wound healing, reduced inflammation, enhanced brain function, faster recovery from injuries, and increased energy levels.

HBOT is commonly used for conditions like non-healing wounds, sports injuries, carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, traumatic brain injuries, and chronic inflammation.

Yes, HBOT is considered safe when performed under medical supervision. However, some minor risks include ear pressure discomfort, sinus congestion, or temporary changes in vision.

HBOT may not be suitable for individuals with untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung), certain lung conditions, or severe claustrophobia.

A typical HBOT session lasts between 60 minutes once the chamber is pressurized.
The number of sessions varies based on the condition being treated. Some people benefit from 5-10 sessions, while others may require 20-40 sessions for optimal results.
Most people feel a slight pressure in their ears (similar to being on an airplane) but otherwise find it comfortable.
Loose, comfortable, cool clothing is recommended. Metal jewelry, lotions, and perfumes should be avoided.
Yes! Many athletes use HBOT to speed up muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and heal injuries more quickly.
Some studies suggest that HBOT may improve oxygenation and reduce lingering symptoms of long COVID, such as brain fog and fatigue.
Yes, increased oxygen circulation can promote collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and support overall skin health.
Minor side effects can include ear barotrauma (ear pressure discomfort), sinus pressure, and mild fatigue. Serious side effects are rare.
Yes, HBOT is FDA-approved for several medical conditions, though some uses (such as wellness and anti-aging) are considered off-label.
HBOT is covered by insurance for certain conditions like wound healing, but coverage varies. Check with your insurance provider for details.
HBOT is generally not recommended during pregnancy unless prescribed for a specific medical condition.
Yes, children can use HBOT, especially for conditions like cerebral palsy and autism, under medical supervision.
Sessions typically involve lying in a chamber for about 90 minutes during which you can relax, read, or watch TV.
Side effects are minimal but can include barotrauma to the ears and sinuses due to pressure changes.
